Hejhej,
Unfortunately, my Scandinavian holidays are already over - I had a great time in Sweden, although the snow and the minus degrees were missing! It felt quite strange to be back in Falun, where (almost) nothing has changed... somehow, it was as if I had never left.I still love Sweden for its unique landscapes, its friendly and helpful people, and its calm and "peaceful" atmosphere...
Flight from Stuttgart to Stockholm - Sky over Germany...
Arrival in sunny Arlanda...
View from "Britsen Beach" - this is where I went swimming... a few months ago ;-)
Norra Järnvägsgatan 20, also known as "Britsen"
F-down: Renke's "ostalgic door"...
... and Renata's "wall of fame"
... on the way to the university ...
Lugnet, waiting for the "Svenska Skidspelen 2008"
"Högskolan Dalarna", my former university, in the middle of nowhere...
I even met Rieko, who used to be my Japanese "sensei" (teacher) :-) I can't remember better language courses!
Falun: "Susanna Kallur - town" ?
Falun, "Rathuset" (City Hall)
Walk near "Britsen Beach", on a very sunny afternoon...
Swedish houses, on the way from Högskolan back to Britsen
THANK YOU VERY MUCH to Renata, my "Lithuanian twin", for sharing her lovely room with me - I hope we'll be able to meet again soon, wherever it may be...
DANKE to Renke, my favorite "Berliner",
And "спасибо" to Rem, for the gorgeous dinners he prepared for us :-)

I also had the opportunity to see my "Swedish-Californian" family again, tack så mycket to BethAnne, Per, Nils and August, it is always a great pleasure to spend time with the 4 of you :-)
... I am already looking forward to going to Sweden again - maybe next year for an internship?
